About Dasher:

L.A.S.E.
guitar and vocals

Ben Arons
drums and background vocals

John Lee Simpson

bass

Dasher formed in January of 2004 in New York City. Jenniffer and L.A.S.E. were known as Electro-Z in Lima- Peru, whereas Bob and Ben are veterans of several bands in the areas of New York and Boston.Eventually, L and J found the scene in Lima limiting. "We felt that we’d taken it as far as we could in Peru, so the hour was upon us to come to New York to take the next step,” says Jeni. They packed suitcases with nothing but musical gear and headed North. "We did not bring clothes -- we had to buy new stuff to wear when we got here." L.A.S.E. and Jeni moved to the area of New York City and began writing the songs for the band that would be known as Dasher.

In October of 2003, the drummer Ben Arons joined the lineup, and in January of 2004 the bassist Bob Donlon, formerly of Geffen Records recording artists “The Rake’s Progress” finished the band that is Dasher. The band has now released their debut album "Panoramic Blast" and performs in the area of New York City.
